Housing Loss Prevention Advice Service (HLPAS)

The Legal Aid Agency have awarded Hadaway & Hadaway Solicitors a contract to provide the HLPAS service at North Shields County Court

The service provides:

  • Early legal advice on housing, debt and welfare benefits issues to those at risk of possession proceedings and loss of their home; and
  • On the day emergency advice and representation at court to those with a listed possession hearing

This service enables anyone at risk of losing their home to get free legal advice, and representation in court, regardless of their financial circumstances.
